I‘ll admit it. As much as I try to appreciate the subtleties of Carolina Barbecue slow-cooked, smoked for weeks, brought to the table dressed in its juices with the requisite squeeze bottle of runny sauce it doesn’t entice me the way the red sauce barbecue does.

I must admit that I wasn't particularly looking forward to eating at a restraurant that touted its ribs. Sourced by all the bad kountry kookin’ chains, I figured where there were ribs, cooked-til-gray corn on the cob couldn’t be far behind.

Mill Street Grill celebrates fifth year
STAUNTON - Mill Street Grill is celebrating its fifth anniversary this month, owner Terry Holmes said last week. As part of the anniversary celebration, Holmes said the downtown restaurant is holding a drawing for accommodations on a trip to any place in U.S. and five $50 gift certificates to the restaurant.
